Look not do be cheated

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen

Forward with the Gospel

Watch and be alert
Mat 24:4 And Jesus said to them in answer, Take care that you are not tricked.

Mat 24:5 For people will come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and a number will be turned from the true way through them.

Mat 24:6 And news will come to you of wars and talk of wars: do not be troubled, for these things have to be; but it is still not the end.

The Generation which is confused
Mat 24:34 Truly I say to you, This generation will not come to an end till all these things are complete.

Mat 24:35 Heaven and earth will come to an end, but my words will not come to an end.

Mat 24:36 But of that day and hour no one has knowledge, not even the angels in heaven, or the Son, but the Father only.

Mat 24:37 And as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of man.

Mat 24:38 Because as in those days before the overflowing of the waters, they were feasting and taking wives and getting married, till the day when Noah went into the ark,

Mat 24:39 And they had no care till the waters came and took them all away; so will be the coming of the Son of man.

He is Our Strength‏

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen

Forward with the Gospel
  Romans 5:1‏
We have his Favour
Now that we have God's approval because of faith, we have peace with God by what our Lord Jesus Christ has done. Through Christ we can approach God and stand in his favor.

2 Timothy 3:14-15‏

He says Come ye with heavy Load
I will give you rest
However, continue in what you have learned and found to be true. You know who your teachers were. From infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures. They have the power to give you wisdom so that you can be saved through faith in Christ Jesus.

...a bruised reed he will not break, and a faintly burning wick he will not quench; he will faithfully bring forth justice. (Isa 42:3)
____________

All will get Rest
If you know that you are weak and if you do not trust your own strength then you are gifted by God's grace. Find your rest in Jesus.

Christian, he will bring you through. God's power is made perfect in weakness. Blessed are the poor in spirit! For theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. (Mat 5:3)

Let's pray.

Son listen to the counsel of the lord
and all will be well with you
Lord, who is strong before you? Thank you for remembering that we are only dust. Help us to look to you in our weakness and to rely on your word that never fails. Grant that we would abide in you more and more. You are my strength. Amen.

Today's very great and precious promise

Blessed are the poor in spirit! For theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.

Cheerful Giver‏

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen

Forward with the Gospel

All is well With Jesus on the Wheel
Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. (2Cor 9:6)
______________

Too often I get stuck on the question of whether or not I give enough. But what's necessary is to get our heart before the Lord and be willing.
He made all things through his word
Jesus said, "Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure--pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return." (Luke 6:38)
What Jesus is NOT saying is that this is heaven's get rich scheme. He's saying that you cannot be more giving than your Father in heaven. Provide for your fellow man- your Father will provide for you.
I think of the love Christ so endless
Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. (2Cor 9:7) Let's pray.
Heavenly Father, thank you for giving us everything we need. Thank you for using our small offering to set our little faith in your great love. Amen.
Today's very great and precious promise
He gave all for our salvation
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed (2Cor 9:8)

We have God's Word on it.

Prayer of the Day

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen
Forward with the gospel
Dear Heavenly Father,

He is Lord
I am grateful for Your loving kindness toward me. I do appreciate Your grace and mercy in my life. When I come to You asking for forgiveness of my sins, I can feel Your mighty power cleansing me. I do want You to correct me when I need it, as I do not want to get off of the path of holiness. Lord, use me to reach out to those around me with the same love You have shown me. Guide me today in the things that I should do. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with so many things to do. I am trusting You to show me the things that are priority and give me the grace and strength to do them. May I be an instrument of Your love today. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

True Wealth‏

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen
Forward with the Gospel
• John 3:16‏

Life in Jesus is Good
God loved the world this way: He gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not die but will have eternal life.

For all things belong to you, ...and you belong to Christ; and Christ belongs to God. (see 1Cor 3:21,23)
__________

Christian, in our present struggle we need to remember that we are heirs of all things in Christ Jesus. In this present age what counts is that we are rich toward God. (see Luke 12:16-34) We have a way to go.

Yes in Jesus we grow
Just because we are heirs does not mean that we have already obtained true wealth for our soul. Paul the Apostle said, "Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own." (Phil 3:12 ESV)

There's the promise- there's our resting place. Christ Jesus has made us his own. Let's pray.

Make that important call to your saviour
Lord Jesus, thank you for making us your own. Help us to trust in your promise and look to you. Help us esteem the things that count- the things of love and faithfulness, of kindness and forgiveness. Help us to work for this true wealth that you give. Amen.

Today's very great and precious promise

And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's descendants, heirs according to promise. (Gal 3:29)

Lord Come now

Not Moldy Religion‏

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen

Forward with the Gospel
Having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit from (Rom 6:22)
___________

Rev. Eng. JK. Maragia
One thing that really bugs me is the idea that God is against fun and joy. It's the lie that freedom from sin means that our lives are religiously drained away.

The irony of it all is that most of us have tried to really live as best we know how. But we end up in a mess or worse- we pretend that we are truly satisfied.

God wants us to have real life- we just go about it the wrong way. Jesus came that we might have life and has it to the full. (John 10:10) When we surrender our own efforts to find fulfillment and instead turn to know Jesus then he teaches us to live.
Minister Madam Anastasia

Jesus said that whoever tries to save his life will lose it. We need him, not our moldy attempts to be religious. Even through pain and our many short comings, Jesus brings us into satisfying life in love and service. Let's pray.

Lord Jesus, thank you for your promise of eternal quality life both now and later. Help me to rest in you- to turn away from trying to fulfill myself and then to put my trust in you. Help me to follow you loving others. Amen.

Today's very great and precious promise

"For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it." (Mat 16:25)

We have God's Word on it.

The Way to Life

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen

Forward with the Gospel
I start my teaching today with a story to bring my message home. The boy had never seen his father study a map so carefully. He asked, "Father, why are you looking at that map?"

Minister Madam Anastasia

His father smiled. "This map shows the streets of the city to which we are going. They say there is work there, in the city."
Minister Madam Anastasia

Then the father's smile became a little sad. "I used to always know where I was," he said, "but the world has changed. Now we are going where we have never been before. For that, one needs a map."

The Way to Life

The journey was long, and there was much time for thought. After a while, the boy again looked to his father. "Father, my birthday is coming soon. I know that I should not ask for much, but there is one thing you could give me."

Rev. Eng. JK. Maragia
"I will give you whatever I can, son. What is it you want?"

The boy replied, "A map."

The father was puzzled. "Why do you ask for a map?"
The boy thought carefully. He said, "Because I will be growing older. I will be going where I have never been before. And you said, 'for that, one needs a map.'"

The truth is, whether young or old, we are all going where we have never been before. Every day we face new decisions, new demands, and new dangers. How are we to find our way safely through these? How are we to guide our families and especially our young ones? There are maps for every part of the world. But is there a map for the greatest journey of all, life itself?

Let us all go Jesus is leading the way he is the way
"You do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes" (James 4:14).

How quickly this one, brief life passes. To ruin it by choosing a wrong road would be a terrible waste. How can we be sure of life's true purpose and direction? How can we be certain that we have made proper preparation for what lies beyond death? In seeking a Map for life, we should open the Bible because of the claims it makes. Again and again it assures us that it is the pure word from our Maker. Yes, the map for life. Look at these examples from the pages of the Bible:

Even this car will not take us there
God's Message leads you into better, happier living. It brings you hope, joy, love and life. Jesus boldly declares, "The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life" (John 6:63).

We need life because death threatens us.
We need direction because we get lost on our own.
I know, O Lord, that a man's life is not his own; it is not for a man to direct his steps" (Jeremiah 10:23).

Even religious people go astray when they "let go of the commands of God and hold on to the traditions of men" (Mark 7:8).

Why are there so many divisions? Why are homes broken and lives hurt? Because people follow their own ways, not God's Way. Jesus will answer your most pressing questions.

Paul's Final Instructions to Timothy

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen

Forward with the Gospel
Paul's Final Instructions to Timothy
Minister Madam Anastasia

9 Hurry to visit me soon.

10 Demas has abandoned me. He fell in love with this present world and went to the city of Thessalonica. Crescens went to the province of Galatia, and Titus
went to the province of Dalmatia.

11 Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you. He is useful to me in my work.

Rev. Eng. JK. Maragia
12 I'm sending Tychicus to the city of Ephesus as my representative.

13 When you come, bring the warm coat I left with Carpus in the city of Troas. Also bring the scrolls and especially the parchments.

14 Alexander the metalworker did me a great deal of harm. The Lord will pay him back for what he did.

15 Watch out for him. He violently opposed what we said.

16 At my first hearing no one stood up in my defense. Everyone abandoned me. I pray that it won't be held against them.

17 However, the Lord stood by me and gave me strength so that I could finish

spreading the Good News for all the nations to hear. I was snatched out of a lion's mouth.

18 The Lord will rescue me from all harm and will take me safely to his heavenly kingdom.

Glory belongs to him forever! Amen.

Final Greetings

19 Give my greetings to Prisca and Aquila and the family of Onesiphorus. 20 Erastus

stayed in the city of Corinth and I left Trophimus in the city of Miletus because he was sick.

21 Hurry to visit me before winter comes. Eubulus, Pudens, Linus, Claudia and all the brothers and sisters send you greetings.

22 The Lord be with you. His good will be with all of you.

Continue to Do Your Work

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen

Forward with the Gospel
Minister Madam Anastasia
2 TIMOTHY 4

Continue to Do Your Work

1 I solemnly call on you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus, who is going to judge those who are living and those who are dead. I do this because Christ Jesus will come to rule the world.

2 Be ready to spread the word whether or not the time is right. Point out errors, warn people, and encourage them. Be very patient when you teach.

3 A time will come when people will not listen to accurate teachings. Instead, they will
follow their own desires and surround themselves with teachers who tell them what they want to hear.

Rev.Eng. JK. Maragia
4 People will refuse to listen to the truth and turn to myths.

5 But you must keep a clear head in everything. Endure suffering. Do the work of a

missionary. Devote yourself completely to your work.

6 My life is coming to an end, and it is now time for me to be poured out as a sacrifice to God.

7 I have fought the good fight. I have completed the race. I have kept the faith.

8 The prize that shows I have God's approval is now waiting for me. The Lord, who is a fair judge, will give me that prize on that day. He will give it not only to me but also to everyone who is eagerly waiting for him to come again.

Live the New Life‏

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen

Forward with the Gospel
Live the New Life‏

A new life in Jesus Christ
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.

(John 15:4)
___________

God's grace is here for us. Jesus said, "I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bear much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing."

(John 15:5)

It's not defeat. It's where we surrender our self-determination and live the new life. Let's live in him; he is our life.

(See John 14:6)

Let's pray.

Pastor Caleb Explaining
Lord, without you, I cannot do anything. Please forgive me for trying to set my own goals. Nothing is good like your will. Help us to surrender our self determination to you and to find our rest in you.

Love Encourages‏

Love one another
Encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.

(1Thes 5:11)
_________
You know who truly is an encouragement to other believers. It's people who struggle like us all and no longer hide it. And they share the hope that is ours in Jesus.
Many of us can quote the Scriptures. We know that "all of us possess knowledge." This "knowledge" puffs up, but love builds up. (ICor 8:1)

Love to one another
The Scriptures point us to Jesus and his love. Let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. (1John 4:7) Let's pray.
Lord, thank you for the Scriptures that speak of you and point us to your love. Help us to encourage those around us. Not in the knowledge that I want to use and gain recognition but rather, help us to recognize one another and respect each other because we all struggle. Help us to share your love. Amen.

Be Filled‏

Be Filled with............
...to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. (Eph 3:19)

________________

Pictures of Yosemite are amazing. But if you get to stand there in person- you can forget yourself in the midst of God's creation.

Mere religion is even less than a picture. Christian, being born again of the living God he calls us to be filled with his Spirit. In him we forget ourselves in the wonder of his love.
Be Filled ......

Be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with all your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. (Eph 5:19-21) Let's pray.

Father, you have sent Jesus to free us in your love beyond our understanding. You call from eternity to be filled with the wonders of your Spirit. Thank you Lord. Filled with you we sing in our hearts to you.

Today's very great and precious promise

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Eph 3:20-21)
