Be Filled‏

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen

Forward with the Gospel
Be Filled‏

Be Filled with............
...to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. (Eph 3:19)

________________

Pictures of Yosemite are amazing. But if you get to stand there in person- you can forget yourself in the midst of God's creation.

Mere religion is even less than a picture. Christian, being born again of the living God he calls us to be filled with his Spirit. In him we forget ourselves in the wonder of his love.
Be Filled ......

Be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with all your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. (Eph 5:19-21) Let's pray.

Father, you have sent Jesus to free us in your love beyond our understanding. You call from eternity to be filled with the wonders of your Spirit. Thank you Lord. Filled with you we sing in our hearts to you.

Today's very great and precious promise

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Eph 3:20-21)

We have God's Word on it.

Comfort in Good Work‏

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen

Hear the word of the Gospel and forward with the Gospel

 Comfort in Good Work‏

Have Comfort in the lord
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.
(2Th 2:16-17)
____________

We receive God's comfort and we are established in Christ in every good work and word. (see 2Th 2:17) Because we are saved by grace through faith I forget that we are created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
           (Eph 2:8-10)

We will only get Rest on the Lord
Let us walk by the Spirit in the good works that our Father has already prepared for us. We do this as we find our rest in Jesus; willing to do God's will. Let's pray.

Heavenly Father, thank you for your Spirit, Help us to be willing to do your will; loving and forgiving those you have put in our life instead of finding fault with them. Help us to follow Jesus in every good work and in how we speak to others.

Amen

We are the workmanship of Christ
Today's very great and precious promise

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

Take Heart‏

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen

Forward With The Gospel
Take Heart‏

Rev. Eng. JK. Maragia

In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.

(John 16:33)
______________

We all have asked, "Why is this happening to me?" Jesus promised that we would have trouble in this world. But he also promised that in him we may have peace.

He said to take heart because he has overcome the world. He has made a way for us. His peace is found as we surrender our anxiety and trust in him. He is faithful. Let's pray.
Surrender all to him who cares

Lord, thank you for your faithful care. Help us to continually surrender our troubled hearts and to trust in you. We turn from our own sin- the world's trouble found in us and we turn to you. Thank you for your grace; your ever present help where we have peace in you.

Amen.

Today's very great and precious promise

We are called by a purpose to serve God
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Why Read the Bible

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen

Read the Word of God and Become Wise
Why Read the Bible‏

Read and understand
You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me (John 5:39)
__________

Why read the Bible? We know that all Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.
(2Tim 3:16-17) ...true, true.

And yet we do well to ask, "Why is it so good for these purposes?" As Jesus said, "They bear witness about me."
True Spirit of God will train you

And again, to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. (1Cor 1:24)

 Let's pray.

Lord Jesus, thank you for the Scriptures that speak of you to our hearts. We want to know you- not just facts about you but to know you in personal relationship. Help us seek for you in the written Word. Amen.

Today's very great and precious promise

True and true

And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.(John 17:3)

We have God's Word on it.

"Samson's Last Prayer"

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen

Aerial View of Nairobi- Forward with The Gospel
  PRAYER - "Samson's Last Prayer"

Rev. Eng. JK. Maragia

Tragedy befell Samson for compromising his Nazarite vow to Delilah's ploys. She cut his hair while he slept, and the Philistines captured him, put out his eyes, and put him to grinding in prison. But his hair grew again, and Samson renewed his vow. The Philistines mocked him at a feast to their god, Dagon, but Samson prayed God to avenge him. God heard him, and Samson toppled the pillars on which the house stood.

Judges 16:30 -

"...So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life."

PRINCIPALS - "Judges"
A smile of worthy to the lord

Both Moses and Joshua could see a time coming when Israel would forsake God's commandments. There would be no king in Israel, and every man would do what was right in his own eyes. Yet, in those times, great men and women stood for God and righteousness, judging Israel in isolated circumstances. Gideon, Samson, Deborah, Samuel and others were heroic. The moral: even in bad times, one person can save the day.

Judges 2:10 -
"...there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel."

PRINCIPLES - "The Woman Gets Honor"
Be brave to fight for the Lord

Deborah was a Godly judge and Prophetess in Israel during a twenty year oppression by the Canaanites. God commanded Deborah to send troops after Sisera, Canaan's army captain. She delivered the word of the Lord to Barak to lead an attack, but he would not go without her. Deborah showed herself a champion, but another woman, Jael, became the heroine who assassinated Sisera that day.

Judges 4:9 -
"...I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honour; for the LORD shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman."

PROPHECIES - "Joshua Prophesies"
Look straight to the Lord

Modern Israel should read Joshua's prophecies again. His message as he was dying was essentially this: Remember the mighty things God has done for you. He will always defend you if you faithfully obey and serve Him. But if you compromise yourself with heathen nations, becoming like them, the LORD will stop defending you. They will become snares, traps, scourges and thorns to you, and you will perish off the land.

Joshua 23:15 -

The Lord is Faithful
"...as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things."

"Speak the Word"

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen
Forward With the Gospel

PRAYER - "Speak the Word"
Minister Madam Anastasia

Moses taught the people to speak the Word of God continually in their homes and around their children, "...that your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children." This is a commandment with a promised blessing attached. Teach your children the Word of the Lord. Speak it in your house continually. Declare the mind and will of God by positive affirmations and prayer.

Deuteronomy 11:19 -
"And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up."

PRINCIPALS - "The Grapes of Eshcol"

REv. Eng. JK. Maragia
Have you ever seen a cluster of grapes so large that it took two men to carry it? That is what the spies found at Eshcol. To this day, one of the great symbols in Israel is artwork depicting Joshua and Caleb carrying those grapes. The Bible does not say it was Joshua or Caleb, but the posterity certainly belongs to men of great faith.

Numbers 13:23 -
"And they came unto the brook of Eshcol, and cut down from thence a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bare it between two upon a staff."

PRINCIPLES - "An Evil Report"

Listen Carefully for the instructions

At Kadesh Barnea, Moses sent one leader from each tribe to do surveillance throughout the Promised Land prior to its conquest. Except for Joshua and Caleb, they were all afraid to invade it. Even worse, they spread their fears throughout Israel. They sabotaged the work of God. They paid dearly. Learn from their mistake. Spread faith - not fear.

Numbers 13:32 -
"And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof."

PROPHECIES - "Self-fulfilling Prophecies"

No doubt in the word of God
Doubt is its own punishment. Nothing good ever came of doubt. No monuments or memorials are built to doubt. When the twelve Hebrew spies surveyed the land of milk and honey, they doubted they could take it - and they DIDN'T! Whether you believe you can or can't, you are right. If you see yourself as a loser, that is what the record will eventually show.

Numbers 13:33 -
"And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight."

Peace and Satisfaction‏

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen

Forward with the Gospel

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
(Mat 11:28)

___________

Rev. Eng. JK. Maragia
What would we do without the Lord's patient love? We stumble along trying to find satisfaction- but we often end up very unsatisfied. The search for satisfaction is a burden until we surrender it all to the Lord.

We need to turn off the television and remember that Jesus came to give us peace. And he has a love for everyone. He is patient.

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me." (Rev 3:20) Let's pray.

Lord Jesus, thank you for being patient with us. Help us to lay down our search for satisfaction and then to follow you. We surrender and trust you. Thank you for the promise of true peace that is ours in you. Amen

Today's very great and precious promise

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. (Mat 11:29)

"Rise up, LORD!"

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen
Forward with the Gospel

PRAYER - "Rise up, LORD!"
Listen carefully my son

Eva. Andrew

Moses prayed each time they journeyed.

The priests carried the Ark of the Covenant ahead of the people, so Moses besought the Lord to dispel His enemies along the way.

When they camped, Moses welcomed the Glory back into their midst.

Let God arise, and His enemies be scattered.

Numbers 10:35-36 -
"And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee flee before thee. And when it rested, he said, Return, O LORD, unto the many thousands of Israel."

PRINCIPALS -

"The Glory Cloud" The ultimate purpose of the Tabernacle was to be a place where people could see God's glory. On the first day the first service was conducted, God covered the place with His glory. Jesus built the church (us) for the same reason - to be a habitation of God's glory.

"Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle."
Rev Eng JK. Maragia

PRINCIPLES -

"Follow the Cloud" From the first day the Tabernacle was in service, for thirty-eight years, God's glory was manifest as a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night in the sight of all the people. When the cloud moved, they moved. When it stayed, they stayed. Always follow God where ever He leads.

Exodus 40:36-37 -
"And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys: But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up."

PROPHECIES -
Never make any Error

"Obeying a Mystery" Moses' team created the entire tabernacle with literally hundreds of intricate details as prescribed by God. The furnishings, the consumables (incense, oil, sacrifices), the garments (robes, mitres, vestments, etc.) and much, much more. There is no way they could have understood the amazing prophetic significance of all those things. In like manner, we must also obey God many times when we have NO CLUE what His purpose is.

Minister Anastasia

 Exodus 39:43 -
"And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them."
Exodus 40:34-35 -

"The Voice from the Mercy Seat"

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen

Forward with the Gospel

Minister Anastasia

JJ. Usually assists in typing this work

 PRAYER -

"The Voice from the Mercy Seat"

They finally finished setting up and consecrating the tabernacle and priesthood. The tribes brought six wagons full of offerings. Sacrifices were made on the new altar. Then, Moses entered in, and God spoke to him from the Mercy Seat. Completed acts of obedience lead to great communion with God.

Rev. Eng. JK. Maragia
Numbers 7:89 -

"...when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that was upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him."

PRINCIPALS -

"The Breastplate"

The priest's breastplate was attached to the ephod (vestment) by golden rings. It had twelve stones, each representing a tribe of Israel. This dramatized the role of the High Priest as the intercessor before God in behalf of the twelve tribes. Some believe that individual stones became illuminated when God had a special message for a particular tribe. A man of God carries the burden of the people continually over his heart.

Exodus 39:8 -

"And he made the breastplate of cunning work, ...It was foursquare; ...And they set in it four rows of stones."

PRINCIPLES -

"Touch not"

Everything in the Tabernacle was portable, because Israel was on a journey. God required them to put rings on the four corners of the holy furniture to slide staves into for the priests to lift and carry the items. The Ark of the Covenant could NEVER be touched by any man, and the staves must never be removed. This teaches reverence and sanctity for the things of God and the ministry. Modern Christians desperately need to re-learn this lesson.

Exodus 38:7 -

"...he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the altar, to bear it withal."

PROPHECIES -

"Wood Overlaid With Gold"

The tabernacle furniture was made of shittim wood, overlaid with gold, silver or brass. The furnishings and walls inside the Holy Place were covered in gold. The Ark represents Christ. Wood symbolized the humanity of Christ; gold, His deity. God said, in Isaiah 13:12, "I will make a man more precious than fine gold." Shittim wood is now obscure. No one knows with certainty what kind of tree it was. The significance of our humanity will be obscured in heaven after God changes our corruption to incorruption.

Exodus 37:1 -

Train a child when young he will never forgets when is a grown up
"Bezaleel made the ark of shittim wood."

Complaint‏

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen

Forward with the Gospel Of Jesus Christ

Complaint‏

I pour out my complaint before him; I tell my trouble before him. (Psalm 142:2)

_________

What about the complaints that rise within us? Sure, all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (Rom 8:28) But we shouldn't pretend.

Under one accord
The Lord is here to help us with our complaints. I pour out my complaint before him; I tell my trouble before him. (Psalm 142:2) Let's pray.

Lord, thank you for being our resting place- that we can bring our complaints to you. Help us trust you and to forgive others. We surrender our will to know your peace again. Amen.

"Blessings"

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever Amen

Forward with the Gospel In Jesus Name
   PRAYER - "Blessings"

Rev Eng. JK Maragia
God could bless anyone without needing an intercessor. Nevertheless, He instructed the priests to pronounce blessings on the people. Men of God are beneficial to us.

Numbers 6:23-27 - "Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them, The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them."

PRINCIPALS - "Aholiab and Bezaleel"

Minister Anastasia
Two men oversaw the creation and production of the entire tabernacle and all its furnishings, in a VAST range of workmanship - metalworkers, stone cutters, woodworkers, tailors, weavers, furniture makers, apothecaries, and more. They made everything from incense and oil to the priests robes, even the Ark of the Covenant. When God needs gives you a job, He will fully enable you.

Rev & Minister JK Maragia
Exodus 36:1 - "Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary."

PRINCIPLES - "Sweetness"

Forward with the Gospel
God ordered sweet-smelling oil and sweet-smelling incense to be used perpetually in the tabernacle. We are so accustomed to the odious and unsavory effects of sin in the world that we forget that everything in God's universe was beautiful beyond our ability to comprehend BEFORE SIN came. God demanded that His earthly house be as beautiful and pleasing as it could be, reminding us that in His presence are pleasures forevermore.

Exodus 37:29 - "And he made the holy anointing oil, and the pure incense of sweet spices, according to the work of the apothecary."

PROPHECIES - "The Holy Anointing Oil"

Junior and Madam Anastasia
God called for a specially concocted holy anointing oil to be used in the Tabernacle. The proprietary apothecary formula was forbidden to ANYONE outside the Tabernacle. It had myrrh, cinnamon, calumus, cassia, and olive oil, all in specific measurements. Everything in the Tabernacle had to be anointed (rubbed) with it, including the priests. This oil symbolizes the Holy Spirit which, in the New Testament church, comes to fill every believer.

Exodus 30:25 - "And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil."
