Allow His Peace‏

Yes your Majesty Honour and Glory to you forever and ever!! Amen

Rev Eng. JK. Maragia
Matthew 22:37-39‏

..."Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with your entire mind." This is the greatest and most important commandment. The second is like it: "Love your neighbor as you love yourself."

Allow His Peace

...let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts (Col 3:15)

____________

The word of God tells us to let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts. Let us notice first of all that it is the peace of Christ. Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you." (John 14:27)

Next let us see that we are called to allow his peace rule in our hearts. That word 'rule' means to umpire or as we might say to 'call the shots'. We are to allow his peace to guide us.
Anastasia And James

We would be right to ask, "How can we get this peace?" We must be born again by believing in Christ Jesus. You may well say, "I have, but I feel no peace." There is no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus and honesty is a godly virtue.

If indeed you have been born again, then Christ in you is your hope that is secure as the Throne of Grace. At times we may not feel it, but you have his peace. We need to stop and trust him to help us.

His peace is not magic, we cannot demand it, force it, or deserve it. Jesus said, "My peace I give to you." His peace is yours. Let it rule in your heart. Come to him and find rest; allow him to lead you.

The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Phi 4:6-7) Let's pray.

Lord Jesus, thank you for your peace. Thank you that it is here in each believer. Forgive us for striving to work things out or to find our own way. Help us to surrender our struggles and anxieties to you. Help us learn to let your peace guide us as we trust in you our Good Shepherd. Amen.

Today's very great and precious promise

you will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you; because he trusts in you. (Isa 26:3)

We have God's Word on it.
