A new life in Jesus Christ

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.

(John 15:4)

God's grace is here for us. Jesus said, "I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bear much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing."

(John 15:5)

It's not defeat. It's where we surrender our self-determination and live the new life. Let's live in him; he is our life.

Lord, without you, I cannot do anything. Please forgive me for trying to set my own goals. Nothing is good like your will. Help us to surrender our self determination to you and to find our rest in you.
